On March 14th, the School of Physical and Technology held a spring outing activity for retired faculty at the Qinggang Village Wetland Park. Liu Yu, the secretary of the party committee of the school, Guo Jian, the deputy secretary and vice dean, Wei Zhenxing, the deputy secretary, Chen Xi, the assistant to the dean, and more than 20 retired faculty members participated in the event.

They spent a happy and relaxing day together. Secretary Liu Yu expressed his deep respect and best wishes to the retired teachers on behalf of the school. He also reported on the situation of the school and the goals, concepts, and measures for the future development of the school. He hoped that the retired colleagues could contribute their expertise to the development of the school. He pointed out that in recent years, the school has seized opportunities and made significant progress in scientific research and disciplinary levels. The development has entered the fast lane. These achievements are not only due to the correct leadership of the school but also the contributions and solid foundation laid by generations of old physicists. All teachers and students of the school will shoulder the responsibility and mission of taking over the baton of the school's development from the retired colleagues. Deputy Secretary Guo Jian conveyed the spirit of the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and the ‘Two Sessions,’ allowing everyone to have a better understanding of national policies and future development trends. He hoped that the retired colleagues would study and understand these policies and continue to support the development of the school.
During this spring outing activity, the School of Physics and Technology also invited experts to hold a health lecture for retired teachers on how to cope with health management in the post-epidemic period, entitled \Prevention and Precautions for Cardiovascular Diseases in the Elderly in Spring.\ The lecture covered nutrition, exercise, and disease prevention, and provided explanations on health knowledge and health management, which was well received by the teachers. In the warm spring with flowers blooming, time flies like a song. This spring outing activity received strong support from the school. The spring outing plan, route, and safety measures were carefully prepared, and the work was thoughtful and meticulous, receiving unanimous praise from the retired colleagues.
