On the morning of May 23, 2023, the Party Branch of the Administrative Office of the School of Physical Science and Technology participated in the second centralized theoretical study session of the school's "Learning and Implementing Xi Jinping's Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics in the New Era" reading group in X30345 of the Xipu campus. Liu Yu, the secretary of the school's Party Committee, presided over the event, and Comrade Guo Jian, the deputy secretary of the Party Committee and vice dean, led the study. All party members of the administrative office party branch attended the meeting. First, under the leadership of Secretary Liu Yu, all party members revisited the oath of joining the party. The solemn oath expressed the firm belief of all party members in not forgetting their original intention and remembering their mission. The solemn commitment is the mission and responsibility of every party member to forge ahead in the new journey and make achievements in the new era. During the reading group session, Comrade Guo Jian, the deputy secretary of the Party Committee and vice dean, took the lead in studying the "Constitution of the Communist Party of China." He elaborated on the Party Constitution's overview, development process, important modifications made during the 20th National Congress, general outline, and articles. After the study session, the members of the leadership team discussed their experiences and insights on the study content.
In conclusion, Secretary Liu Yu mentioned that the Party Constitution is the fundamental law of the Party and the general rules that the entire Party must follow. In the construction of our grassroots party organizations, we must organize party members to study the Party Constitution seriously, always remember their identity as party members, their rights and obligations, give full play to the role of the branch as a fighting fortress and the role of party members as pioneers and models, unite and work together, educate people for the Party, cultivate talents for the country, and make contributions to promoting the development of the school.
