Attendees included Vice President Kang Guozheng of Southwest Jiaotong University, Chief Scientist Xu Yuhong of the quasi-axisymmetric stellarator, General Manager Wu Xinlian of Hefei Keye Electric Physics Equipment Manufacturing Co., Ltd., Deputy Director Ji Xiaoqian of the Fusion Science Institute at the Southwest Institute of Physics, Acting Dean Jia Huanyu of the School of Physical Science and Technology, and Deputy Commander Zhang Sheng of the stellarator construction command. The ceremony was hosted by Cheng Jun, Head of the Technical Department of the stellarator construction command.

Vice President Kang Guozheng extended a warm welcome to all leaders and experts attending the ceremony and praised the tremendous efforts made by the Fusion Science Institute team in stellarator research. He emphasized that in response to the national energy development strategy and to accelerate the establishment of national strategic scientific and technological capabilities, the team should focus closely on key scientific issues of independent and original innovation. Utilizing the CFQS-T platform, they should comprehensively advance the testing and pre-research of advanced stellarator configurations, laying a solid foundation for the construction of the major scientific and technological infrastructure project in Sichuan Province, the Quasi-axisymmetric Stellarator Project.

Yin Dapeng, Deputy General Manager and Chief Engineer of Hefei Keye Electric Physics Equipment Manufacturing Co., Ltd., spoke on behalf of the company, stating that the CFQS-T device has met all necessary indicators and requirements for the anticipated tests and that relevant testing and pre-research work can commence. He also congratulated Southwest Jiaotong University on this achievement.

Professor Xu Yuhong, Chief Scientist of the quasi-axisymmetric stellarator, reviewed a series of significant advancements made by the Fusion Science Institute in recent years. He expressed sincere gratitude to all levels of leadership, Keye Company, and peers in the fusion field for their strong support in the construction of the testing platform. He assured that the team at Southwest Jiaotong University’s Fusion Institute would strive to conduct relevant testing and pre-research work diligently, providing support for the successful completion of the Quasi-axisymmetric Stellarator Project in Sichuan Province.

Ji Xiaoqian, Deputy Director of the Fusion Science Institute at the Southwest Institute of Physics, also addressed the attendees, stating that the institute would fully support the construction of the platform within the framework of the strategic cooperation agreement between both parties.

Vice President Kang Guozheng and General Manager Wu Xinlian jointly unveiled the key components of the CFQS-T, while Chief Engineer Yin Dapeng and Professor Xu Yuhong conducted the handover of the technical documents and related materials for the key components. The ceremony concluded successfully.
