In an effort to further strengthen legal education among college students, enhance their awareness of studying, abiding by, and utilizing the law, the School of Physical Science and Technology held a lecture on legal knowledge on the afternoon of October 28th. The event took place in the No. 1 lecture hall of the library at the Xipu campus. The lecture featured Senior Partner Tian Lingyu from Zhongwen (Chongqing) Law Firm, who addressed over 200 students and all faculty members of the School. The session was moderated by Yong Teng, the secretary of the Youth League Committee of the School of Physics.
Tian Lingyu is not only an outstanding lawyer but also a mentor skilled in nurturing others. Starting from the concept of law, she introduced relevant aspects of the Civil Code closely related to college students, making everyone aware that legal knowledge is omnipresent in our lives. Her presentation ignited the enthusiasm of the students to learn, abide by, and apply the law. Tian Lingyu's explanation was clear and insightful, encouraging students not only to understand the law but also to contemplate how to use legal tools to protect themselves.
