On the afternoon of March 14th, the School of Physical Science and Technology held a conference on the study of relevant systems for teacher ethics and conduct and a warning education session on teacher misconduct at room X30334. All faculty and staff of the university attended the event. The Secretary of the School Party Committee, Li Zhuohui, delivered the keynote speech.
Li Zhuohui first conveyed the relevant requirements and work arrangements from the university regarding further strengthening the ideological and political education of teachers in the new era and the construction of teacher ethics and conduct. She then led the teachers to review the content of institutional documents such as the "Ten Guidelines for Professional Behavior of University Teachers in the New Era" by the Ministry of Education, the "20-item Negative List of Teacher Misconduct at Southwest Jiaotong University," and the "Guiding Opinions of the Ministry of Education on Handling Teacher Misconduct in Higher Education," and combined them with typical cases of violations of the ten guidelines for professional behavior of university teachers to provide warning education.
Lastly, she hoped that the teachers would take these cases as lessons, understand the rules, uphold the bottom line, regulate their professional behavior, adhere to the bottom line of teacher ethics, implement the fundamental task of moral education and talent cultivation, and focus on cultivating socialist constructors and successors who are well-rounded in morality, intelligence, physical fitness, aesthetics, and labor skills.
