In order to thoroughly implement the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and Xi Jinping's Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, implement the fundamental task of cultivating virtue through education, promote the ideological and political construction, ethical conduct, and professional competence improvement of teachers in the school, and encourage the continuous emergence of "Four Good" teachers, the School of Physical Science and Technology held the first "Educational Excellence" Awards Ceremony for outstanding teachers on March 14, 2024. Members of the school's party and administrative leadership team, as well as all faculty and staff, participated in the event, which was presided over by Guo Jian, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Vice Dean of the school.
Li Zhuohui, Secretary of the Party Committee, and Jia Huanyu, Executive Dean, presented certificates and flowers to the outstanding teachers of the school's first "Educational Excellence" Awards, including Liu Qijun, Wu Ping, Zhu Fengrong, and Gao Xiaorong.
Finally, Wu Ping, on behalf of the award-winning teachers, delivered a speech, sharing insights and experiences as a teacher of the people for 38 years, and calling on all teachers in the school to uphold the original aspiration of cultivating virtue through education, shoulder the mission of educating students, and collectively propel the educational and teaching work of the school to a new level, contributing their efforts to the high-quality development of the school.
