In order to further refine the experience of class advisors in the school, promote the construction of the ideological and political education framework, and better explore the "Three Comprehensive Education" work model to continuously support the growth and development of students, on the morning of March 15, 2024, the School of Physical Science and Technology held a class advisor work exchange meeting in the X30345 conference room at the Xipu Campus. Li Zhuohui, Secretary of the Party Committee, Jia Huanyu, Executive Dean, Guo Jian, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Vice Dean, Party Committee member Liu Qijun, class advisors for freshman and graduating classes, as well as counselors, attended the meeting. The meeting was chaired by Guo Jian.
Each class advisor shared their experiences on how to carry out their class advisor work effectively based on their own practical work. Guo Jian expressed gratitude to the class advisors for their care and support for student work over the years, and elaborated on the smooth student management and service model of "counselor-department-class advisor." Counselors for freshman and graduating classes respectively analyzed and reported on the first semester results of the freshman class and the employment and further education situation of the graduating class. Class advisor for Physics 2020-05, Wang Nan, and class advisor for Telecommunications 2020-01, Guo Jianqiang, shared their experiences in student evaluation mechanism construction, selection and training of student cadres, etc. Liu Qijun, Secretary of the Party Branch of the Department of Applied Physics, exchanged ideas on the selection, management, and assessment of class advisors. Jia Huanyu summarized the meeting, fully affirming the important role that class advisors play in the growth and development of students. He stated that the school will continue to mobilize various resources, strengthen the construction of the class advisor team through measures such as selecting outstanding class advisors, and contribute to promoting comprehensive student development and improving the quality of talent cultivation in the school.
