On May 16, 2024, Li Zhuohui, the Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Physical Science and Technology, gave a disciplinary party lecture to all members of the Party Branch of the administrative office and the first Party Branch of the undergraduate Applied Physics program at the Xipu Campus, room 30334. Starting from a series of important statements by General Secretary Xi Jinping on the discipline construction of the Party since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, Li Zhuohui emphasized that discipline is the "ruler" for governing the Party and is also the standard and follow-up for party members and cadres to constrain their own behavior. Strengthening discipline construction is the fundamental strategy for comprehensively and strictly governing the Party and is an important guarantee for the unity of the entire Party. She then taught the importance, framework structure, and main content of the revised "Disciplinary Regulations of the Communist Party of China." Additionally, to facilitate learning from cases, she organized a collective study for members on educational materials related to typical cases of party discipline violations by teachers and students in universities.
Lastly, she emphasized that party discipline is the code of conduct that all party members must adhere to, and strict compliance and firm maintenance of discipline are the basic requirements for being qualified party members and cadres. The purpose of conducting party discipline learning and education is to guide party members and cadres to transform discipline and rules into political consciousness, ideological consciousness, and self-awareness, enabling them to respect, fear, and uphold the bottom line, and to work and live in a supervised and constrained environment, strengthening self-discipline.
