At 3 pm on October 28, 2021, the Department of Electronic Information Science and Technology of the School of Physics and Technology invited all teachers to carry out teaching and research activities on the Tencent conference platform theming the starting plan of the project-oriented professional courses.
On the basis of introducing the school’s principles and requirements for project-oriented courses, the two professional directions that have been clearly defined in the department-electromagnetic field and microwave technology, photoelectric detection and non-destructive assessment were explained. The professional knowledge system, curriculum framework, project-oriented courses related to professional theory courses and project practical tasks, guarantee conditions, and employment prospects of the direction regarding the two directions were also explained.
Furthermore, the relevant operating items such as the revising application of the training plan, the method and proportion of course assessment, the scheduling of courses, make-up exams, course retaking, back-to-school exams and course selection were also explained. Besides, the detailed syllabus of the four project-oriented professional courses that the department has prepared so far was also introduced. Finally, opinions and suggestions from all teachers on the project-oriented courses were gathered.
