On the afternoon of November 16th at 2:30 PM, the School of Physical Science and Technology convened a faculty meeting in the X30334 conference room. Members of the school's party and administrative leadership, along with all faculty members, attended the meeting. The session was presided over by Guo Jian, Deputy Secretary of the School Party Committee and Deputy Dean.
Vice Dean Jia Huanyu announced the school party committee's notice regarding the appointment changes for Comrades Liu Yu and Li Zhuohui: Following deliberations at the expanded meeting of the school party committee, it was decided, due to age considerations, to relieve Comrade Liu Yu of the position of party committee member and secretary of the School of Physical Science and Technology. Comrade Li Zhuohui is appointed as the new party committee member and secretary for the School of Physical Science and Technology. Subsequently, both Comrades Liu Yu and Li Zhuohui delivered speeches.
Wei Zhenxing, Deputy Secretary of the School Party Committee, presided over the annual retirement ceremony for faculty members. Amidst enthusiastic applause, retiring teachers for the current year stepped onto the stage. They received tokens of appreciation and flowers from Secretary Li Zhuohui and newly joined faculty members, capturing the moment with a group photo, immortalizing their cherished years at the School of Physical Science and Technology. The ceremony also introduced the new faculty members who joined the school this year, symbolizing the seamless transition and the shared commitment to the ongoing success of the school.
In the concluding segment, Wei Zhenxing led all faculty members in a session on teacher ethics and conduct, emphasizing the importance of ethical behavior and concentrated learning in education.
