With the characteristics of basic disciplines, the school has conducted two in-depth seminars on how to achieve the development and breakthrough of characteristic disciplines. It has also conducted three thematic seminars on "identifying gaps, remedying weaknesses, and achieving high-quality development of the school" in order to focus on the implementation of key tasks in the school's 14th Five-Year Plan. The school's official website and the "Elite Physics" WeChat official account have planned more than 20 special columns such as "Celebrating the 20th National Congress" and "Advancing in Physics", publishing more than 307 special network works. The number of readings has exceeded 100,000, creating a positive atmosphere for online ideological education.
Finally, the school has united the wisdom of teachers and students to draw up a new blueprint. In this year, the school successfully held a party member congress and completed the election of the new party committee. The work report of the school's party committee analyzed the current development status and shortcomings, and designed the "four pillars and eight beams" for the future development. It established the development concept of "prioritizing education, strengthening scientific research, promoting disciplinary development, and nurturing new talents". The school further promoted the integration and linkage of studying and implementing the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, the spirit of the 15th Party Congress of the school, and the 14th Five-Year Plan of the school, drawing up the blueprint for the next phase of the school's development.
